We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager who has a growth mindset and is excited to work in a fast-paced environment and take on a broad range of responsibilities. This person will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts, improving contracting processes and efficiencies and supporting various strategic projects across the Legal team. The successful candidate must be able to work cross-functionally with teams across the organization and demonstrate excellent communication skills and sound business judgment. What will I be doing? 🚀- Assist with negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts (e.g., SaaS subscription, nondisclosure, vendor, consulting, recruiting and data processing agreements), working with internal clients and external parties.
- Manage daily incoming contract requests, progress workflows and coordinate the signature process.
- Implement best practices for contract administration using a CLM.
- Maintain and update template agreements, playbooks and document repositories.
- Implement and track updates to online terms and policies.
- Develop and maintain internal learning resources (e.g., training materials and process documentation).
- Foster and develop strong relationships with internal company stakeholders in Sales, Procurement, Finance, Security, IT and other functions and answer inbound queries from stakeholders.
- Support various strategic projects across the broader Legal team.
- 5+ years of experience working as a Contracts Manager or in a role fostering similar skills, including ability to draft and issue spotting.
- Knowledge of legal and commercial terms and concepts and familiarity with basic business contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree; JD is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning team in a collaborative manner.
- Astute judgment in escalating issues when necessary.
- Resourceful, organized and have a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience working at a SaaS or other technology company preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace products, Slack, CLMs, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and DocuSign. Familiarity with Coupa, Salesforce and collaborative workspace platforms (e.g., maintaining internal wikis and information hubs) is a plus.
- Spanish or Portuguese language skills
