We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the preparation, negotiation, and management of a wide range of commercial agreements across multiple business areas. This role offers the opportunity to shape agreements that support innovative, high-impact projects in finance, technology, education, and sustainability. You will oversee direct reports, act as a trusted escalation point, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure legally sound, clear, and efficient agreements. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will:
- Manage and oversee a team responsible for negotiating and finalizing commercial agreements.
- Serve as an escalation point for both direct reports and business line stakeholders.
- Supervise the legal engagement process and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Identify process efficiencies and implement improvements to streamline contract management.
- Assess, mitigate, or escalate legal risks associated with commercial agreements.
- Act as a liaison between various stakeholders to ensure agreements meet business objectives.
- Handle a variety of agreements, including master services agreements, software-as-a-service agreements, NDAs, sponsorship agreements, collaboration agreements, and memorandums of understanding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- 5+ years of experience in contract negotiation or as a contract manager.
- Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with workflow management tools such as Monday.com and Jotform.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and mentor direct reports.
- Qualified to practice law.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Experience with crypto assets or digital finance agreements.
