Contracts Program Manager

The Legal team supports Datadog's rapid growth by providing a wide range of legal services across a highly dynamic technology company, from driving new business via contracts and compliance efforts, to protecting Datadog's intellectual property. Datadog's Legal team collaborates with virtually every team across the organization, from engineering to product to marketing. Datadog is seeking an experienced Contracts Program Manager to join our Legal team. In this role you'll work closely with individuals across the organization in support of various legal-related matters, with a primary focus on supporting the scalability of our commercial contracting function.

What You'll Do:

• Triage legal review requests to identify opportunities for automation, self-help, and other SOPs
• Be the first escalation point in connection with our automated processes and project manage the implementation of automations and reporting
• Manage commercial transactions knowledge resources and collaborate with legal and non-legal colleagues on various projects as needed
• Support the ongoing improvement of our contract templates, playbooks and processes
• Analyze and use data to drive initiatives, assist in planning, and provide reporting to legal and other stakeholders
• Manage technology used by the commercial transactions team with respect to legal use of the same (current technologies include Akorda, Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, and Loopio)

Who You Are:

• An experienced legal program manager with at least 8+ years experience and familiarity with legal contracting
• Someone who enjoys exploring technology and playing with data analysis
• Interested in finding opportunities for process optimization and automation
• An effective communicator and detail-oriented
• Someone with high integrity and excellent judgment
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment where you'll work on multiple projects at the same time, while meeting tight deadlines

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $96,000 - $141,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
