We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Control Room Specialist to join our IT Operation and Control Room department.

What you’ll do:

• You will operate and monitor control room equipment and systems.

• You will need to continuously monitor various data and alarms to ensure the safe and efficient operation of critical systems.

• You will respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies promptly and take appropriate action to resolve issues.

• You will perform routine checks, inspections, and maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

• You will record and maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and equipment status.

• You will coordinate with other departments and team members to ensure seamless operation and communication.

• You will need to follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

• You will need to collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and improvements when necessary.

• You will ensure to stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to control room operation.

Who you are:

• You possess a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree or technical certification in a related field is a plus.

• You have min 2 years of experience as a Control Room Operator or in a similar role.

• You have a strong understanding of control room equipment and systems specific to your industry.

• You are proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.

• You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions during emergencies.

• You have good communication and teamwork skills.

• You have attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

• You are willing to work in shifts and adapt to a 24/7 operational schedule if required.

• Your proficiency in the Italian language is mandatory, and conversational skills in English are preferred.

Preferably, you also have:

• Any additional qualifications specific to your industry are preferable

• Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures is nice to have.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office or other relevant software for documentation and reporting.
