Description
We are growing our team and looking to add a seasoned Controller to lead a team of 3 and set up the financial infrastructure within a fast growing private company (revenue projected to increase by 5-10x by next year). The Controller will regularly interface with leaders across Iterative Scopes and is expected to be able to build consensus and drive decision making. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in using their prior experience to build out a best in class accounting function within a rapidly growing private company.
Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the monthly close process in accordance to GAAP
• Managing the company's yearly audits
• Be the in house expert / point person on revenue recognition and tax considerations (with support and access to outside experts)
• Optimize and control treasury operations.

Additional responsibilities will involve helping with our NetSuite implementation and providing support on product pricing decisions.
Requirements & Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Interested in building out the infrastructure to sustain significant growth while maintaining tight financial controls.
• The desire to drive continuous process improvements
• Track record of leading/managing multiple concurrent projects (with different deadlines) in a highly cross-functional environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to clearly and consistently communicate with senior leaders of the company

Minimum Qualifications:

• CPA
• 3 years or more experience in public accounting
• Advanced level understanding of revenue recognition rules
• Knowledge of corporate accounting best practices and familiarity with NetSuite
• Past experience as a Controller (>2 years) at a rapidly growing, post-Series A startup

Preferred Qualifications:

• ERP implementation
• Experience working in accounting for healthcare technology (software) companies
• IPO experience
