About This Role:

The Controller will oversee and supervise the organization’s accounting operational functions. The position will require a strong, competent, and skilled individual who enters with a clearly demonstrated understanding of the role and function of a successful Controller. The Controller will also be expected to demonstrate financial administrative intuitiveness, advise the CEO and CFO on related financial risk management, and devise an appropriate response. It is important to also note that this is not just a managerial role, but the Controller must also a “doer”; someone who easily inserts themselves into the financial functions of the organization.

About You:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or similar degree
• 10 plus years of related experience working as a Controller or in a Senior Accountant role
• 5 to 10 years of supervisor experience and/or accounting management experience
• Strong supervisory and effective leadership skills.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting and payroll functions including financial statement preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
