Compensation Range: $140,000-170,000 per year
You + This Opportunity
Here's what you'll get to do...

• Accounting
• Lead all accounting activities by bringing bookkeeping in-house, including month-end closing within the first 6 months.
• Personally close the books in the short-medium term.
• Own the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies and financial processes.
• Oversee AR and AP functions
• Tax and Audit
• We are just completing our 2021 audit - you will lead the implementation of any process and controls required as a result of the audit.
• Going forward you will lead the team in the engagement with external auditors for the performance of quarterly review and annual audit procedures.
• Ensure accurate sales and income tax recordings and filings.
• Financial Reporting
• Build and implement a financial reporting framework for investors and executive team for ME, QE, and YE.
• Develop KPIs and Metrics to monitor our financial performance and health.
• FP&A - Work alongside the Director of Operations to improve our financial projections and analysis.
• Ad-Hoc Projects - Ad-hoc reporting, analysis or other ad-hoc projects

We're looking for people who have...

• 7+ years of total experience in accounting or audit.
• 2+ years of experience as a Controller.
• 2+ years of audit experience.
• Experience working in-house, preferably at a B2B SaaS startup.
• Strong familiarity with US GAAP and ASC 606
• Great problem-solving and analytical skills
• An ability to effectively communicate with executives, investors, and board members.
• Experience using Quickbooks Online or similar accounting platform
