Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all financial and accounting processes
• Responsible for planning, developing and implementing strategy for the accounting function
• Manage all general ledger activity, reporting systems, GAAP/IFRS standards
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end close process
• Direct preparation of company forecasts and budget
• Lead external and internal audits ensuring all requirements are met
• Coordinate, monitor, and support taxation requirements ensuring timely completion of tax returns
• Identify and lead integration of finance process improvements 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, or Accounting, or similar
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant accounting experience with at least 3 years in an accounting management capacity
• Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures and US GAAP
• Experience with ERP/financial systems
• Strong sense of accountability and integrity with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive at an early-stage startup where you will have the opportunity to help create and optimize key systems and processes

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• MBA preferred
• M&A experience is a plus
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus
