Controller

Envoy Global has an unique opening for an experienced Controller who brings operational finance experience to handle the day-to-day accounting operations here at Envoy Global and our global subsidiaries . You'll be working directly with the CFO and Accounting team to oversee the operations of the global accounting team ( Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, Accounting) , as well as the design of an organizational structure to achieve the department's strategic goals and objectives .
As our Controller, you will be required to:

• Drive a timely, consistent, and accurate monthly close cycle
• Produce GAAP and management financial statements monthly.
• Oversee M&A integration activities related to the accounting department including transfer pricing, systems, and processes.
• Oversee and support the external audit process and tax work.
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
• Establish / document policies and procedures for the accounting functions and establish internal control systems.
• Hire, retain, coach, and grow accounting team members.

To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• CPA required and prior public accounting experience preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, audit, or finance function, with solid knowledge of:
  • ASC 606 revenue recognition rules and best implementation practices.
  • GAAP financial statement preparation and review.
  • ERP integration and implementation.
  • Multi-company consolidation and eliminations.
  • Pre-M&A due diligence and post-M&A integration.
• Previous experience standardizing and implementing accounting processes for multiple acquisitions.
• Open, honest communicator and problem solver.
• Enjoy brainstorming to find better solutions.
• A strong desire to keep learning new things.
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work in a timely manner, under pressure at times.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline required, Masters preferred.
