About the Role

Are you passionate about leading operational excellence in an entrepreneurial and dynamic work environment? Are you yearning for an opportunity to utilize your creativity to grow a scaling process? We are looking for a Controller to join us on our journey to facilitate a digital revolution in the B2B supply chain.

The Controller leads and directs an organization's accounting functions. Establishes and maintains the organization's overall accounting systems, procedures, and policies. Directs all analysis and reporting of financial information including budgets, planning, and required filings and reports. Presents findings and recommendations to management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and streamline month-end close process including the review of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Ensure accounting policies and procedures conform to US GAAP standard.
  • Develop financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Supervise accounting functions, payroll, accounts payable, tax review, and system administration.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for the Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Assist with financial reporting packages and management presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental and company standards and regulations including 1099.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly review and annual audits.
  • Provides department managers with detailed financial and management reports.
  • Partner with management to implement recommendations to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in special projects and ad hoc requests as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing accounting teams
  • Active CPA required
  • Experience in Oracle Netsuite
  • Demonstrate experience in applying US GAAP
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong creative skills to develop new and innovative solutions
  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels

Compensation: $120-150k
