Controller

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of accounting operations within a fast-growing, technology-driven environment. You will lead financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and play a key role in supporting executive decision-making. Working closely with cross-functional teams, investors, and external auditors, you will help scale financial processes and systems to support continued growth. The role offers the opportunity to influence business strategy, strengthen internal controls, and drive operational excellence. You’ll manage a high-performing team while contributing to a culture that values ownership, flexibility, and innovation. • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
• Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including quarterly board materials
• Manage audits across the organization and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Support regulatory and investor reporting requirements with accurate and transparent financial data
• Drive the implementation and optimization of financial systems and processes to support scalability
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights on spending, profitability, and ROI
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in accounting and/or auditing roles
• Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams
• Background in SaaS environments or experience supporting SaaS businesses
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• CPA certification required
• Experience with financial systems implementation and process optimization
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with executives, auditors, and investors
• Self-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
