Job Description

As a Controlling Manager (m/f/d) at SCAYLE Payments you are supporting the financial reporting and planning, providing financial insights to senior management and further developing and expanding our business steering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Business Partner for our Product, Technology und Risk & Compliance departments within SCAYLE Payments
• Business Partner for planning and reporting related financial matters in close collaboration with the ABOUT YOU Group
• Support of the internal and external financial planning and reporting of SCAYLE Payments in alignment with regulatory requirements according to German Regulation (i.e., RechZahlV and Local GAAP) as well as in close alignment with the ABOUT YOU planning and reporting requirements according to IFRS
• Assistance in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to RechZahlV and IFRS
• Supporting the development of our internal finance performance and business steering capabilities
• Responsible for financial ad hoc analyses as well as projects and special assignments

Requirements

• Successfully completed a bachelor or master degree in economics or an equivalent field with a focus on controlling or finance
• Relevant professional experience in the field of finance performance management, preferably in the e-commerce and fintech sectors
• Familiarity with the regulatory environment and its implications on the finance function that comes along with a payment service licensed company is a big plus
• Very proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite as well as BI solutions
• Knowledge of Microsoft D365 is a plus
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to engage people in one's own topics
• Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong analytical mindset
• Enjoyment in working with numbers and KPIs
