Your Responsibilities
As a TDP Controls Development Lead for JDPSlocated in Waterloo, IA or 100% Remote, you will develop complex control algorithms in Simulink/dSPACE for engine systems at the front-end (TDP) of the development process. In addition, you will....

• Develop, for these algorithms, calibration processes and in some cases perform them
• Work with production process (PDP) controls team to assure control strategies are developed within the Next-Gen Engine Controls (NGEC) architectural framework, and coding standards
• Understand customer and system needs and translate them into engineering requirements

What Skills You Need

• 5 or more years of experience developing engine control strategies
• 5 or more years developing controls and plant models in Simulink (or equivalent)
• 2 or more years using dSPACE. MotoHawk or equivalent rapid embedded controls development systems

What Makes You Stand Out

• Engine/aftertreatment systems calibration experience
• Experience developing vehicle-level controls

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Minimum of a BS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, control systems, or similar
