Summary:

The Conversational Marketing Specialist will own, manage, and deliver our webchat and SMS communication experiences. In this role, you will be actively engaged in developing and executing channel-specific conversational strategies.

You will work closely with digital marketing channel managers to refine and customize their conversational marketing experiences with the goal of assisting in achieving performance targets.

You will have the unique opportunity of architecting a cross platform journey for our customers in their different conversational touchpoints with Vivint, including SMS, and Webchat.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Communicate the company's competitive advantage through automated conversational marketing messaging for delivery via webchat.
  • Determine and use the most useful content and channels to convey, message, and engage the target audience.
  • Collaborate with department leadership, using research and insights to help create measurable programs aligned to business goals that focus on driving a world-class user experience, qualified leads, sales and installs among target audiences.
  • Collaborate with live chat representatives to create a smooth transition between chatbots and live agents.
  • Build out channel-specific, relevant conversational journeys, and automated chatbot flows that drive sales qualified leads and marketing qualified leads.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools and the ability to build reports based on performance.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing appropriate data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.


Required Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, geared to communications with both technical teammates and sales and marketing management.
  • An ability to communicate complicated chat flows to gain buy-in from upper management.
  • An ability to communicate technically to ensure integration with Salesforce and validate marketing attribution.
  • Healthy decision making, judgment, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, building out webchat user journeys and flows, email, or SMS.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS3 (preferred).
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders/clients with competing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical skills and an interest in reporting and data analysis.
  • Attention to detail, flawless execution, and a strong emphasis on quality assurance.


Required Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, with a major in Communications, Marketing or related field, or related professional experience.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in webchat, marketing automation, email marketing, or SMS marketing.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn new ideas and processes quickly

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
