Conversion Rate Optimization Manager

Since 1987, the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) has set the standard in certification, continuing education, solutions and tools for health and fitness, sports performance and sports medicine professionals. NASM has pioneered evidence-based health and fitness solutions that optimize physical performance and allow individuals to achieve a variety of fitness activity goals.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a curious, data-driven Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager to be a champion of site performance, web analytics, and split testing. This role will work closely with development, creative, and e-commerce team to ideate and implement website improvements and testing plans to deliver to website KPIs.
Responsibilities:
- Education & Deliver to key marketing KPIs including but not limited to CVR, AOV, and RPV through continuous and rigorous testing
- Work closely with extended team members to bring new ideas and tests to life
- Complete meticulous competitor, industry, and eCommerce research to identify opportunities and ensure our website remains modernized and aligned with best practices
- Own applications and technology required for increasing web revenue and consistently delivering new ideas to the team leveraging technology that can help the team achieve their goals
- Work closely with paid media, email marketing, web operations, and other departments to test landing pages, propose new templates, and ensure we're maximizing RPV from all channels
- Increase lead collection through consistent iterations on lead collection forms and pop-ups
- Meticulously monitor web for quality, functionality, errors, and other problems that could compromise conversion/revenue
- Manage the testing calendar, strategy, and implementation, ensuring tests are running in every major area and that deliverables from other teams are ready to keep a state of constant testing
- Report on testing wins and losses, overall web improvement, and incremental changes
- Be a champion for UX and a clear, simple purchasing process
- Build a process to Q/A to perfection across devices and platforms
- Go beyond the data, looking for deeper interpretations beyond the obvious, asking why, and using the insights from experiments to shape future projects
Experience:
- 4-year degree in business, marketing, finance, or another related analytical field
- 5+ years of proven e-commerce experience and CRO experience, preferably with D2C high-traffic e-commerce brands
- Must be a curious thinker that loves to ask questions, dig deeper, and get to the why
- Exceptional communication, project management, and leadership skills, able to seamlessly drive cross-department initiatives and ensure all deliverables are complete to meet testing calendar deadlines
- Unmatched attention to detail, able to own QA across a large website with consistent updates
- Experience using split testing tools like Google Optimize, Optimizely, Convert, etc.
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMRush, Hot Jar, Tag management, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data and act based on effective analyses
- Highly collaborative and proven ability to work successfully on cross functional projects
- Team-player with "can do" attitude, highly resourceful and proactive
- Strong ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
- Commitment to remaining current with the latest trends and best practices in digital commerce as well as maintaining competitive intelligence
- Must be able to provide examples of previous tests and speak to the results
