Conversion Rate Optimization Manager
Job Description
The Socium team is looking for an analytical, user-focused Conversion Rate Optimization Manager to play a role in driving conversions for Socium’s clients through developing customer-centric web experiences. This role will be a subject matter expert for anything conversion and landing page related. You’ll partner closely with our SEO and Paid Media teams to maximize channel efficiency and hit bold new user acquisition targets. You’ll execute CRO strategy for Socium’s new and existing clients, driving measurable business results and creating best in class web experiences for our client’s customers. Responsibilities
- Perform website audits and provide strategic recommendations based on UX best practices
- Identify bottlenecks and conversion optimization opportunities by researching how users behave on our client’s sites
- Run A/B and multivariate tests to improve the conversion rate and user experience on our client’s sites
- Draw conclusions from data and results, driving further testing across development, content, and UX improvements
- Define UI/UX best practices for landing pages across all device types
- Develop data-driven roadmaps for websites and paid media landing pages that prioritize testing and optimization opportunities for client teams
- Prioritize testing for clients based on expected impact
- Pitch new and existing clients on Socium’s CRO services
Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization role, preferably at a digital marketing agency or eCommerce focused organization
- Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive experience running CRO experiments on Shopify
- Experience with A/B testing and testing platforms, such as Optimizely, VWO, and/or Google Optimize
- Experience designing experiments from a math foundation, with the ability to simplify and explain concepts like confidence intervals and statistical significance
- Ability to troubleshoot pixel tracking and events on landing pages
- Experience with landing page builders, such as Unbounce or Instapage
- Knowledge and ability to communicate the underlying psychology behind why an optimization will lead to a certain action and a sense of what a user will do within different sections of the customer journey
- An understanding of key digital marketing functions and practices
- Ability to become a power user of new tools autonomously and rapidly
- Strong project management skills
Plusses (but not required)
- Proficient in design tools, such as Sketch or Figma
- Working knowledge of front end web development
- Experience with Webflow a big plus
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000- $95,000
