Accounting Coordinator

We are searching for an experienced and detailed-oriented Accounting Coordinator reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. The position is expected to assist with bank reconciliations and treasury administration, balance sheet reconciliations, and other administrative tasks. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary due to the regular interaction with the firm’s staff. Successful candidates will have exceptional written and oral communication capabilities, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and bring a practical and participatory approach to the role.

Essential Functions

• Working with other members of the accounting department to compile, analyze, and report financial data.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure all daily banking activity is recorded in a timely manner
• Prepare corporate credit card reconciliation and ensure all credit card expense activity is recorded in a timely manner
• Assist in monitoring corporate expense program (purchase cards)
• Assist Controller with daily Treasury activity and bank account administration
• Assist with month-end close process including preparing and uploading journal entries into NetSuite
• Assist Senior Accountant with balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist Revenue Accountant with accounts receivable reconciliations
• Assist with special projects as needed by Senior Accountant, Revenue Accountant, Accounting Manager, Accounts Payable Manager and Controller
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• 1-2+ years’ experience in a corporate accounting role
• 1-2+ years’ experience with an ERP system

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Exceptional communicator and self-motivated
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Hourly Range: $26.58-$31.25
