As a Coordinator II, you will be responsible for supporting our providers to ensure they are working at the top of their license. The candidate in this role will support our providers by performing administrative duties. This role requires someone who can multitask in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will need to be detail-oriented and has Excel knowledge. This team is eager to train and welcome new people to the team.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

- Has excellent communication skills.
- Is a team player.
- Has physician scheduling experience but not required.
- Has Outlook calendar meeting scheduling experience but not required.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Collects, maintains and reports information for the department such as; patient information, budgets, employee PTO and schedules.
  • Assists with the coordination of various department activities by distributing reports, facilitating the analysis and reporting of information.
  • Functions as department liaison by coordinating various activities and providing customer support to internal and external customers.
  • Assists with performance evaluations, counseling and on-boarding of new employees.
  • Performs duties related to the preparation, implementation and analysis of special studies and projects.
  • Maintains office supplies and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education:
  • High School or GED required.


Certifications:
  • None required.


Complexity of Work:
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.


Work Experience:
  • Minimum of three years experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects; proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software.


Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office and laboratory equipment
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.


Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
