What You Will Do:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a vital member of our team, contributing to the efficiency of the recruitment process and playing an integral role in various HR and talent management initiatives. Reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner responsible for corporate and corporate recruiting, this role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities to ensure a streamlined and effective recruitment process.

In this dynamic position, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator collaborates closely with our Recruitment team and other department members in a fast-paced environment. They serve as the initial point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive and memorable experience throughout the entire recruitment journey. Their role is characterized by:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As a Talent Operations Specialist, performs as part of the LL Flooring centralized talent acquisition team collaborating with a team of Recruiters and other Recruiting team members.
  • An integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression and elevating their experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Respond to and maintain the HR general inbox.

  • Maintains a high bar for the level of service provided to internal and external clients.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving the coordinator workflow and implementing effective solutions.
  • Serve as a passionate and knowledgeable Brand Ambassador to external candidates.
  • Coordinating and managing the logistics of the pre-employment process, which includes maintaining and managing the HR status report, monitoring background checks, preparing, and monitoring offer letters, and providing regular updates to recruiters, store managers, and regional managers.
  • Maintaining organization charts.

  • Creating job descriptions and job ads to attract top talent.
  • I am participating in various process improvement projects across the department and establishing relationships with HR counterparts.
  • We are keeping candidate records, job postings, and hiring information up to date in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Collaborating cross-functionally within the organization to ensure a holistic approach to talent acquisition and management.
  • Assisting in career leveling and compensation projects to ensure competitive and equitable packages for our team members.

  • Also, you may be called upon to take care of other tasks or responsibilities as required.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in using ATS and other HR software.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
