CLEAR is hiring a Copy Director to build the brand voice and lead copy initiatives for the company across marketing, brand, and product. We’re looking for someone who is a great collaborator, strategic thinker, and is enthusiastic about building and maintaining a consistent brand voice. As a Copy Director, you’ll report directly to the Creative Director and work on everything from concepting ideas, pitching them, and executing. This includes marketing campaigns, emails, social posts, product language guides, and so much more.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the voice of the Brand, ensuring it is consistent across all platforms
  • Contribute to overall Creative team vision, roadmaps, ideation, and creative strategy
  • Write clear and concise marketing copy for our website, app, emails, social media, and print collateral while upholding CLEAR's brand voice
  • Collaborate with experienced designers, videographers, and other creatives to make brand, product, sales, and marketing materials from start to finish
  • Have a deep understanding of CLEAR’s products, the market, our current members, and future consumer 
  • Use customer and data insights to understand our audiences and write for them  — be able to flex tone of voice easily for B2B and B2C
  • Be agile and flex with the different needs of our cross-functional partners and be able to easily juggle multiple at one time
  • Manage a team and workload so deadlines are met and the work is elevated and on point

Who You Are:

  • A skilled writer with 8+ years of copywriting and management experience (Please include a portfolio of your work in the application.) 
  • A creative, strategic thinker who can communicate and advocate for ideas across the company
  • A writer with experience creating compelling copy on a wide range of deliverables—from digital and social ads to product tutorials, sales materials, web pages, blog posts, and integrated campaigns
  • A writer with experience concepting and executing performance-based marketing strategies 
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages time well, and consistently hits deadlines
  • A team player who is excited to collaborate with the Senior Creative team to refresh CLEAR’s brand
  • Experience with UX writing and SEO is a plus
  • Someone who is excited to join a great team and continue fostering culture and cohesiveness for creatives
