About the Role:

OPIS Copy Editors are responsible for ensuring all daily news alerts are complete, concise, well and clearly written and adhere to proper style.

You Will:

• Edit stories for our online news service to ensure they are complete, accurate, concise and follow proper style.

• Work with news and pricing reporters to help improve their writing and reporting skills. 

You Have:

• Minimum 2 years of editing or reporting experience, preferably in the energy, environmental or commodities sectors

• Strong writing and editing skills 

• An eye for detail and a knowledge of straight-forward and clear writing. 

• Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with reporters and editors.
