Job Description
EPIC Position Description Title: Account Service Manager
As an Account Service Manager, you will serve as the relationship manager and account professional for brokers and/or strategic clients on pharmacy benefit related topics. You will collaborate with the Pharmacy Benefit Consultant by interacting and creating relationships with brokers, client executives, human resource personnel, and others which will enable EPIC to partner with clients to create and communicate within the context of the overall health and welfare strategy. As the Account Service Manager, you are the guru when it comes to planning benefits, auditing, reporting and overall operations.
Responsibilities:
EPIC Broker and Client Management
Working with the EPIC Pharmacy Benefit Consultant, EPIC Broker, client, PBM, and EPIC resources the candidate will:
• Supports the EPIC Account Team supporting clients with clients and EPIC Brokers
• Participate in ongoing client meetings including:
o PBM implementation support
o Vendor review meetings
o Independent strategy and performance assessment meetings
• Navigate appropriate internal EPIC experts on custom projects and analyses. Ensuring deadlines are met and projects are completed on time.
• Manage client renewals in collaboration with the Pharmacy Benefit Consulting Team
• Comply with all PSG policies and procedures including protection of PSG’s assets, data security, confidentiality, privacy and processing integrity
• Become a product expert/SME on PSG’s internal technology and internal reporting capabilities
• Perform basic analytics related to client program performance
• Prepare and support the delivery of quarterly and annual business reviews with clients and pharmacy partners to highlight program performance and outline optimization opportunities
• Monitor PSG billing activity related to assigned accounts to ensure accuracy and timely billing
• Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM) documentation to assigned accounts
Program and Business Development
• Assess opportunity for expanding EPIC Pharmacy Solution services within existing client relationship.
• Participation in conferences and other forums for showcasing program experience and success.
• Participate in internal workgroups to develop new programs, services, corporate positions and publications based on the continual assessment of client and market needs.
Account Implementation
• Assists Pharmacy Benefit Consultant by providing oversight, guidance and serve as an advocate for the broker and client to ensure vendor requirements are being met and service levels are adequate throughout vendor implementation.
• Identify issues and concerns for appropriate escalation and resolution to ensure successful transition.
RFP Process Management
• Participate in general RFI/RFP process via scoring and assistance with this annual process.
Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)
• Extensive knowledge of PBM and specialty pharmacy environment (2 years minimum experience).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills and client relationship management experience.
• Strong experience with Broker, TPA and Captive markets
• Strong analysis skills including: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Detail oriented and self-directed
• Willingness to be part of a team unit and cooperate in the accomplishment and departmental and organizational goals and objectives
• Travel is required, but typically less than 20%
• Pharmacy benefits background with bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
