POSITION OVERVIEW

The copywriter is responsible for creating engaging content for all Reflex Media brands. This will include but is not limited to: web pages, ad copy, email campaigns, marketing campaigns of different scales, print, scripts, and social media content. The ideal candidate will be familiar with luxury brands and various online dating apps, be extremely passionate about writing, work well under pressure, and be able to meet deadlines.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Brainstorm creative marketing copy that inspires, tells a story, and motivates the user to action for multiple brands and initiatives
  • Execute concepts into inspiring copy for various mediums and channels including, but not limited to: content for web, social media, email, video and occasionally print.
  • Develop, draft, review, and edit clear, concise and engaging blog content for multiple brands - bonus if you are familiar with WordPress and have experience managing a team of blog writers
  • Make content recommendations based on brand strategy
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with department heads to generate innovative ideas
  • Produce marketing materials that uphold the voice, energy, and direction of the brand
  • Partner with the Creative and Marketing teams to bring fresh, innovative ideas and strategies that inspire action
  • Research cultural insights to create copy appropriate for both US and International customers

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree or corresponding certification/diploma in English, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years creating content in a marketing and/or advertising setting - BONUS if you have prior journalism experience or PR experience
  • Ability to work well in both a team or independent environment
  • Must have effective interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of marketing on social platforms, video, email, etc.
  • In-depth understanding of the creative process from conception to execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable with creating content for brands of all niches
  • Ability to think outside of the box to create innovative copy to drive brand awareness
  • Excellent and demonstrated expertise in writing, copy editing, proofreading, and fact-checking
  • Must have a portfolio of writing samples that demonstrates knowledge of stated requirements
  • Candidates with copywriting experience for lifestyle and/or luxury brands are encouraged to apply
