Who you are...

As a Marketing Copywriter at Desert Financial you will support marketing initiatives by creating high volume, relevant, and meaningful content across all marketing channels that aligns with the Credit Union's established brand voice and strategy. This is a hybrid position that will require some time be spent in our offices.

A typical week might include the following

Use your expertise to write copy for articles, brochures, blogs, commercials, online ads, social media, videos, websites and more!

Create relevant and meaningful content for specific consumer segments while ensuring consistent product messaging across all marketing channels.

Take complicated financial topics and translate them into relatable text.

Maintain a deep understanding of Desert Financial consumer segments including their financial needs/goals, value drivers, and preferences. Maintain strong knowledge of the features, functionality, and technical properties of our full range of products.

Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure copy and design function together and create a synergistic experience.

Generate, develop, and present fresh ideas and new concepts to Marketing leaders and team members, with the ability to respond positively to critique.

Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects, and deliver consistently high quality copy within established, often tight, timelines.

Incorporate a solid understanding of the compliance and regulatory guidelines around marketing copy and messaging into the finished product.

Perform other job related duties as assigned.

This role might be for you if you have

A Bachelor's Degree from four year university or college in English,Communication, Journalism, Marketing or in related field.

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a copywriter.

Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing best practices.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional writing and editing skills and familiarity with Associated Press style guidelines.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams to produce ideas.

Attention to detail, extremely organized with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a highly fluid environment.

Great people skills and the ability to be personable and professional.

Flexibility and the ability to manage changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
