Messaging plays a key role in the success of Plexus. As Copywriter, you will drive the clarity and creativity of the marketing collateral and content that is created. This position requires a talented writer who knows how to structure messaging in a way that builds emotional meaning and connection for our audience. The ideal candidate will be a strong listener, keen observer, and disciplined organizer of complex information. They will have a natural knack for transforming a few bullet points into inspiring campaigns that achieve the overall goal of the project owner. Strategic thinking, compelling storytelling, clear articulation, knowledge of digital marketing, sharp attention to detail, and an exceptional eye for English grammar are also essential skills for this position. The ideal candidate will have high emotional intelligence and the ability to express ideas using language beyond what is average. Alliteration excites them. They are up for the challenge and can pivot on a dime from one piece to the next, shifting the tone, style, and structure to meet the needs of each project.

What you'll do

• You are responsible for learning and embracing the Plexus brand voice.
• You are accountable for delivering and executing a suite of marketing content, including print and collateral materials, email campaigns, web and digital media, script writing for video and events, community-driven content, and more.
• You deliver content that represents the Plexus voice through omnichannel marketing copy.
• You build close relationships with key clients in Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Creative Services and Legal.
• You provide copy that is clear, connected, and compelling - simplifying complex concepts to make Plexus products and programs accessible. For example: copy that explains the science and ingredient benefits must be meaningful and easily understood.
• You own projects from start to finish with determination to see the entire project completed accurately and on time.
• You construct continuity of messaging throughout all materials with team collaboration.
• You regularly review work with leadership to get feedback on direction and to ensure the work is aligned with other activities.
• You collaborate and receive constructive feedback from stakeholders and easily apply it to the writing.
• You work within a project management system to track communication, tasks, and timelines for each job.

You should have

• You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• You have 4 years of experience in copywriting and storytelling.
• You have excellent writing skills with optimal sentence structure, tone, feeling and emotion.
• You demonstrate the ability to handle high pressure, tight turnaround deadlines, revisions, and articulate the messaging to business stakeholders. Must be detail-oriented.
• You possess the ability to anticipate obstacles, communicate effectively and plan accordingly.
• You are adept at providing solutions and working in cross-functional areas to facilitate successful completion of projects.
