Copywriter

About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager-Copywriting, you will write original, compelling and copy, integrating our brand's tone of voice for a variety of short-form mediums. Conduct research of topics and partners with team members and partners across the business to provide content that fits our brand and organizational tone of voice.

You Will:

• Write content to persuade target audience to take immediate action
• Write multiple types of short-form content such as: direct marketing ads; copy for web & landing pages; ad campaigns including 30-sec video scripts; social media campaigns; email banners; email promotions assets; blurbs for news feed; alerts; interactive content; cover features; etc.
• Write content to meet requirements of the content brief, applying brand and technical expertise to expert partners and lay audiences
• Investigate aspects of brief and develop follow-up questions/requirements/input/feedback for successful output
• Use the Association style of writing to create easily understood pieces of written information
• Brainstorm concepts with designers and translate to on-brand content
• Work with editing colleagues and freelancers to ensure no change of writing and editing process

You Have:

• Experience in copywriting
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Marketing, Business or related field
• Experience in either the creative department of an ad agency or in-house creative department
• Creative portfolio including digital, social, email, video/TV, radio and OOH/guerrilla
