About You:
You are a creative thinker with excellent writing and research skills to help us elevate our written presence as our full-time, in-house copywriter. As a member of the team, you will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including landing pages, webinars and presentations, videos, short articles, and social media), working closely with subject matter experts, demand generation, events, and design teams to translate ideas into content, develop messaging, and execute on cross-functional projects. You have experience ghostwriting and developing thought-leadership content for senior and executive level team members. Thorough research will be required to understand the audience and industry, Tulip’s products and services, and our branding and marketing goals. The most successful copywriter will be a quick learner with a versatile writing style.
What skills do I need?Â
- 2-3 years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work
- Have a proven track record as a B2B writer who drives key business results
- Know how to turn data-driven insights into short, medium, and long-form pieces
- Have a passion for bold storytelling, copywriting, and creative
- Are organized and detail-oriented
- Are energized working in an entrepreneurial environment where things can change often
- Familiarity with social media and/or content marketing is a plus
- An understanding and appreciation of the importance of strategy and the ability to keep content on brief and on brandÂ
- A keen eye for detailÂ
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with industry, product, and engineering subject matter experts on thought leadership and educational content
- Produce best-practice top-of-funnel and mid-funnel assets that generate pipeline
- Bring a consistent voice to Tulip that avoids jargon, makes the complex simple, and creates an urgency to act
- Create compelling content that is tailored to different types of media
- Contribute to the development of a content team infrastructure (process and templates) that will allow us to scale
- Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to assess project needs and help with messaging
