We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Copywriter to join our Creative Team and help shape our brand's voice and messaging across the business. As a Senior Copywriter at PrizePicks, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling and engaging content across a diverse range of marketing channels. We are looking for a wordsmith who is not only proficient in general copywriting but also possesses a deep understanding of performance and brand marketing strategies. Your primary responsibilities will encompass creating impactful copy for organic social media, paid media campaigns, brand campaigns, content creation, and more.
*This is a hybrid role based in our Atlanta HQ office.What you’ll do:
- Copywriting Excellence: Craft persuasive, concise, and on-brand copy for a variety of marketing materials, including but not limited to: social media, content, advertising, email, website, and more.
- Creative Strategy: Collaborate closely with the Creative and Content teams to develop innovative and effective content strategies and breakthrough marketing concepts that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Performance Marketing: Leverage your expertise in performance marketing to create copy that not only resonates with the audience but also drives measurable results and ROI.
- Brand Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of PrizePicks' brand voice, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand identity.
- Content Creation: Generate creative and informative content that educates, entertains, and informs our audience, from blog posts and articles to scripts (paid and organic), original content, infographics, and more.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to marketing campaigns.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation in our copywriting and marketing efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a copywriter, ideally within the sports or gaming industry.
- Proficiency in performance and brand marketing strategies.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms.
- A passion for sports and gaming is a plus.
