Career Opportunity

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Copywriter to join our Creative team. We are seeking a Digital Marketing Copywriter who is well-versed in crafting engaging and effective copy to drive conversions for channels throughout the marketing funnel. Applicants should possess substantial and demonstrated expertise in SEO and Email Marketing best practices.

While this opportunity is open to remote candidates, all employees of Reflex Media are required to work the regular business hours of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM PST. All offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a full background and reference check.

  • Customer Service Engagement
  • Abandon and Retention emails
• SEO Content
  • Work with the SEO Manager to optimize content for Organic search.
    • Top-level pages
    • Blog articles
    • And other organic content marketing sources
• Acquisition Landing Pages
  • Work with the Media Buyer and Affiliate Manager to develop compelling Landing Page content designed to convert users to Join a given subscription product.
• Ad Copy Support
  • Paid Social Media Buys
    • Snapchat
    • X (Twitter)
    • Reddit
    • TikTok
    • Meta
• Programmatic Display
  • Banner & Video Display
• Paid Search Ads - Google/Bing
• Promotional Site Modals
  • Prompted modals serving user promotional copy
  • Image-driven site Pop Ups - also promotional
  • Nag Bars (text-driven prompts with a CTA)
• Social Media - Organic
  • Support the Social Media Manager to develop compelling post content designed to engage existing followers and bring in new followers to be primed for acquisition.
• Copy for Video
  • Provide copy support to the Video Production team for developing scripts or providing copy snippets.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years creating content in a marketing and/or advertising setting - BONUS if you have prior journalism experience or PR experience.
• Ability to work well in both a team or independent environment.
• Must have effective interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of marketing on social platforms, video, email, etc.
• In-depth understanding of the creative process from conception to execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with creating content for lifestyle and dating brands.
• Ability to think outside the box to create innovative copy to drive brand awareness.
• Expert writing, copy editing, proofreading, and fact-checking skills.
• Must have a portfolio of writing samples that demonstrates knowledge of stated requirements.
• Candidates with copywriting experience for lifestyle and/or luxury brands are encouraged to apply.
