Copywriter Lead

What you’ll do We are looking for a Direct Response Copywriter Lead to propel our advertising team pumping out video ad scripts and copy for statics on a weekly basis. This key player will manage a small team of copywriters to create high converting scripts for video and static for all social media platforms radio TV email landing pages and beyond. Our team is looking for a marketer at heart who has written for video social ads across multiple vertices with experience in the weight loss and health + wellness industry. We need a leader who can pitch write hypothesize analyze translate learnings and guide strategy on messaging angles for high converting ads in a fast production environment. • Consistently generate high-performing script for video and static ad creatives that convert and scale effectively.

• Develop persuasive copy for upsell funnel pages advertisements landing pages and other key projects.

• Continuously enhance and optimize copy to boost conversions and surpass benchmarks with a strong focus on front-end acquisition of new customers.

• Immerse yourself in our diverse range of products and brands to create tailored impactful content.

• Craft and refine compelling scripts for long-form videos and engaging text sales letters.

• Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior copywriters.

• Conduct thorough research to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of all written content.

• Lead and inspire creative direction for major projects including overseeing video shoots as needed.

• Edit and polish colleagues’ writing to ensure clarity impact and on-brand messaging.

• Collaborate closely with media buyers video editors and the product development team to produce cohesive and effective campaigns.

It’s a perfect match if you have:

• 5+ years of professional high-output creative writing experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred major in Journalism English Creative writing Screenwriting Marketing or Communications

• 2+ years experience in writing for health and wellness vertical front end acquisition product funnels

The pay range for this role is $80000- $120000. We offer a competitive salary package and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's location skills qualifications and experience.
