Copywriter (Remote-First)

About the Role

The copywriter will be responsible for editing and creating engaging copy that aligns with EWC's voice and tone across multiple platforms.

A Day in the Life

• Create engaging and compelling copy for our website, e-mail campaigns, individual centers' signage, and other digital and physical marketing channels.
• Work closely with our brand, marketing, and CRM teams to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Write product descriptions, blog posts, and other content to educate and inform our audience.
• Conduct research on the personal care industry, competitors, and consumer trends to ensure our messaging is relevant and up to date.
• Collaborate with our design team to ensure that copy and visuals work together seamlessly.
• Manage and maintain our brand voice and tone across all channels, in partnership with our brand team.
• Monitor the performance of our marketing efforts to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Optimize copy for search engine visibility, crafting effective meta descriptions and tags.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a friendly tone.
• A deep understanding of digital marketing best practices and trends.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Proficiency with content management systems, e-mail marketing tools, and social media platforms and best practices.
• Resourceful; learns fast, easily adapts to dynamic environment.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, or a relevant field.
• 2 years of proven experience as a copywriter, with deep digital experience, ideally in personal care or a related industry.
