We’re Looking For A: Corporate Account Manager, Pet who will create and grow profitable, mutual business partnerships with key distribution and retailer partners in assigned region within the company’s branded pet channels.

Location: Woodland Hills, CA or Remote

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Overall management and point of contact for large, direct buying E Commerce and brick and mortar retailers to deliver sales and profit goals.
  • Placement and/or growth of Golden Hippo pet brands with national and regional retailers.
  • Business plan development and execution to achieve goals and vendor scorecard objectives with assigned retailers.
  • Understand all aspects of retailer strategy and operations to enhance relationships and identify and execute against growth opportunities.
  • Work with retail team, product development, supply chain and others to facilitate partnership growth in alignment with GH strategies and objectives.
  • Make sure all E Commerce partners adhere to brand guidelines including iMAP, authorized reselling, etc…
  • Gain a thorough understanding of all of GH brands and stay informed of industry trends and opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

  • Thorough understanding of the pet industry and how retailers work
  • Knowledge of sales, operations and account management as it pertains to the retail channel
  • Ability to work with many different personality types and levels within retailer organizations
  • Ability to collaboratively work across the organization to achieve common goals and internal alignment
  • Curiosity to continue to grow and learn and uncover new opportunities
  • Think strategically across brands and channels
  • Detail orientation and great follow through
  • Ability to work in a fast moving and changing environment
  • 3+ years working with, and selling to, regional or national pet retailers at corporate level
  • 2+ years managing E Commerce partners in the pet industry (similar industry considered)
  • 5+ years within the pet industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.

$104,700 - $139,700, annual & monthly KPI bonus potential, depending upon experience
