What does a Corporate Accountant at Packard Culligan Water do?
Financial Accounting
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial exhibit information and supplementary schedules.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and fixed assets.
- Prepare various journal entries, including intercompany transfers.
- Review information submitted by dealerships for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit various sales tax returns, as required.
- Prepare accounts payable vouchers for specific payments handled by accountants.
- Train and support dealership with accounting/financial needs, specifically office managers.
Budget Management
- Lead annual budgeting process. Including preparing documents, conducting analysis and
providing guidance. - Partner with managers to conduct rate and pricing analysis to ensure alignment with budget.
- On a monthly basis, review and monitor financial and operation growth. Identify variances and
work with managers on corrective measures.
Internal Control
- Assist in evaluating, recommending, maintaining appropriate internal controls.
- Assist in scheduling and reviewing physical inventory counts.
- Analyze financial statements and make recommendations to improve financial performance and
achieve benchmarks.
- 4-year college degree or equivalent; master's preferred.
- 3 years professional Accounting experience.
- Strong skill with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) and Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains or like system.
