We currently have a great opportunity for a Corporate Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will be highly accountable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, comfortable making decisions, proactive, and strong knowledge of accounting in accordance with US GAAP.

Responsibilities:

• Researching and interpreting technical accounting guidance, documenting conclusions in an organized logical manner, and discussing conclusions with management 
• Owning and implementing upcoming accounting standards (e.g. CECL) 
• Reviewing sales contract redlines and managing related revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
• Reviewing leasing agreements and accounting for leases in accordance with ASC 842 
• Accounting for international domiciled entities, ensuring correct accounting for consolidated reporting, including monthly reporting and analysis of the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and statement of equity
• Operational support in setting up new legal entities and bank accounts and dissolving entities and closing bank accounts 
• Managing technical accounting memos related to all audit items (revenue recognition, leasing, consolidation /VIE conclusions, changes in accounting principles) 
• Coordinating the interim and year-end audit for the entire accounting org (corporate and fund)
• Coordinate with the operating team, fund team, tax team, and auditors to ensure a smooth annual audit
• Meet regularly with the fund team, tax team, and auditors throughout the entire year, constantly looking for opportunities to improve the audit process and quality of deliverables
• Ensure all audit and reporting deadlines are met
• Provide support to auditors and manage weekly meetings 
• Implement internal contract review process for Finance team (corporate, fund, tax) working with the sales and legal teams and communicating accounting implications to the relevant parties
• Documenting internal processes, procedures, and control related items across the accounting organization

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Accounting strongly preferred
• CPA strongly preferred
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with revenue recognition (ASC 606), consolidation & VIEs, financial reporting, fair value of investments, leasing (ASC 842) 
• Experience with fund accounting is a bonus
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience
• Strong background in GAAP accounting and familiarity with CECL
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects timely & accurately
• Excellent Communication skills - written and verbal
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with Google Sheets
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work well with others in fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills
• Time management skills

Compensation range:  $120,000- $140,000 10% bonus
