Arrow Electronics' corporate social responsibility team, Community Forward, is seeking a corporate social responsibility manager based at corporate headquarters in Centennial, CO, reporting to the director of Community Forward.
Community Forward is a highly visible team within the corporate affairs department, responsible for supporting Arrow's commitment to global communities where we have operations through strategic donations and employee volunteerism. Our long-term goal is to channel the power of our people, products, and financial capital to help charitable partners achieve their missions. We are especially interested in engaging employees in our philanthropic programming to increase engagement and pride at Arrow. Philanthropic focus areas include technology for good, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), climate solutions, disaster relief, and employee volunteerism.
In this role, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) manager will be responsible for managing grant partnerships, impact reporting and special projects across the Community Forward team, as well as supporting volunteer engagement programs. We are seeking a CSR generalist who thrives at managing projects, optimizing processes, creating communications, and developing impact reports and presentations. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone interested in helping to build and scale a global CSR program by supporting the function in a variety of projects.
This position will follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days in our office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) based in Centennial CO and 2 days from home.
What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee end-to-end grant process; In partnership with the director of Community Forward, develop and implement a grants project road map, approval process, budget and impact goals for each portfolio (tech for good, STEM, climate solutions).
- Design and oversee grant workflow processes and procedures, including timelines for grant rounds, key milestones and tasks, portfolio impact goals and investment amounts, grant recommendations and approvals; Provide regular updates to project team;
- Develop relationships with existing grant partners based on transparency, dialogue, and mutual learning, to unlock greater understanding of the ways Arrow can support them
- Recommend efficient record keeping system for grant partners, including relationship management information and impact reporting dashboards
- Collaborate with finance and external philanthropic service providers to process international grant payments and provide reporting needed for audits and financial projections.
Develop communications, presentations, and impact reporting across the Community Forward function to build program awareness, demonstrate business value, and highlight community impact and charitable partners, including but not limited to, intranet articles, employee communications, townhall presentations, volunteer engagement dashboards, leadership reporting, and executive-level speaking points and presentations.
Support broader Community Forward initiatives as needed, including global months of service, global volunteer network, annual social impact campaigns, Earth Month, and other projects as needed that align with business priorities and drive engagement with enterprise global strategies.
Proactively research and recommend solutions for complex grant scenarios, new charitable partnerships, and new programming, by employing considerable judgment, initiative, and consistent follow-up for complete and quick resolution.
Stay current with industry trends and understand best practices in our competitive landscape, including trust-based philanthropy, grants management, corporate social responsibility benchmarking, and regulatory developments.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree and/or 5-7 years relevant experience working in a corporate social responsibility, cause marketing, program management, volunteer engagement, partnerships, or related field;
- Excellent communication, customer service, relationship building, and influencing skills;
- Curious self-starter with ability to research and tap internal and external networks for insights; solves complex problems with minimal guidance;
- A get-it-done mentality; effectively able to operate in ambiguity by creating repeatable processes with defined procedures to maximize efficiency and impact;
- Passion for storytelling with data; plans and executes activities for internal and external communications.
- Cross-culture competency; experience communicating and partnering with employees across multiple countries, including being available for early/late meetings as needed to accommodate time zones
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; excels at producing sophisticated reports to demonstrate Community Forward business value and community impact
- Strong learning agility and interest in using systems to administer high-impact programs (Microsoft 365, PPT, Excel, YourCause/Blackbaud, survey tools, project management tools, NPS reporting, philanthropic service providers, etc.)

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$99,100.00 - $137,516.50
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
