Corporate Attorney

Location

Our Corporate Attorney will be an integral part of our legal team. This role is based remotely in North America; East Coast or Central time zones required.

The Opportunity

DoiT Is looking to add an innovative legal professional to our thriving business. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is willing to learn from skilled colleagues, with a strong Tech DNA, and grow and evolve in a dynamic Tech environment. This role involves close collaboration with the sales team (from BDRs to Executives) and the other DoiT Departments (marketing, finance, product) and with DoiT’s long term partners including Google, AWS and Microsoft.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with general day to day operational legal enquiries, in cooperation with the Head of Legal USA and EMEA and from the business units/departments;
• Assisting in reviewing, drafting, advising and negotiating on a diverse range of commercial contracts and legal documents, including Cloud Service Agreements, DPAs, Partner Agreements, NDAs, and others.  
• Undertaking general corporate work (such as registration and liquidation of companies, bank account openings, etc.), visiting and following up with various governmental authorities (including the notary public), and maintaining up-to-date corporate documents of the worldwide DoiT entities.
• Work closely with the Collections team to (i) pursue debtors and recover unpaid invoices; (ii) track efficiently the legal steps regarding the Collections process.
• Dealing with ad hoc legal matters where relevant. 

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from a reputable university.
• 5- 7 years post qualification experience in providing legal advice in an international corporate environment.
• Previous experience in supporting a sales team in a technology company.  
• Experience will include commercial / contract law and drafting skills.
• High proficiency in English + knowledge of any other language is an advantage.
• Commercial mindset: team player with the ability to work with cross functional departments including sales people and understanding their needs.
• Ability to organize and work across multiple projects and multiple time zones.
• Must be self-driven, resourceful, results and deadline oriented, and have a high multi-task proficiency.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, changing business environment.
