Overview
Responsible for opportunity generation and assessment - identification, development and execution of new business opportunities in the Upstream, Downstream, Chemicals, LNG and New Energies space. Responsible for commercial evaluation of opportunities and coordination of technical evaluations.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Communication Skills - requires strong communication skills and ability to engage key internal and external stakeholders to shape, mature and execute business development strategy.
Commercial Skills - commercial experience in material energy acquisition and divestitures, preferably chemicals, downstream, LNG and/or new energies.. Commercial experience and skill in originating, developing and negotiating commercial agreements and maturing business development opportunities. Experience in asset valuation, economic and fiscal analyses of complex opportunities and commercial contracts.
Business Acumen - requires proven ability to systematically collect and analyze data from various sources, to drive market insights to support opportunity capture.
Project Management - Framing opportunities, formulating plans, focusing on decisions and effectively influencing teams, balancing multiple assignments with deliberate speed. Sequencing and prioritizing plans and actions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
10 - 15 years industry experience
Must have minimum 5 years experience in material energy acquisition and divestiture projects, preferably chemicals, downstream, LNG and/or new energies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with an MBA or law degree
Experience in new energies projects in areas such as renewable gas, hydrogen and carbon capture
Relocation Options:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
International Considerations:
Selected candidate will work under the local payroll system and benefits.
Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
