Corporate Claims Analyst

What are we looking for?

Manage the Corporate risk management Workers Compensation claims portfolio to optimized outcomes and financial results, with the primary purposes of: Supporting the Corporation’s e Products Group’s claims management approach in a firm, fair and consistent manner to achieve optimized case resolution outcomes financially.  Support the Global Corporate Claims Manager with all claims with primary focus on North American Casualty. Maintain favorable relationships with Mars’s insurers and brokers, Domestic TPA and litigation support vendors and managing the performance of external claim adjusting firms; support state-of-the-art claims process. 
Develop and maintain strategies and processes to manage the risks associated with our business operations through the use of risk assessment, loss prevention, insurance and business continuity management.

1 year experience with workers compensation claims or schooling in the subject

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Implement the strategic approach and objectives around Mars claims management and desired results.

  Provide technical support and guidance to the Occupational Health & Wellness department, focusing on claims administration.

  Participate in periodic reviews of claims and loss experience for all insurance programs and report on loss trends, specific areas where the loss experience is changing and make suggestions for improvement.

  Coordinate the collection of claims supporting information.

  Support claim resolutions between Mars and its insurers, claims adjusting firms and brokers.

  Meet with insurers, insurance brokers, claims administering firms and Mars’s operating units to analyse experience and then recommend how the business units can most effectively address their claim risks within the scope of the overall claims and risk management programs with Corporate Global Claims Manager.
