The Role

Addepar’s Communications Team is seeking a Corporate Communications Associate to participate in and lead ground breaking internal and external communications programs in support of key business priorities. This critical role within the Communications organization includes promoting and protecting the company’s brand and reputation through proactive and reactive media strategies, developing outstanding internal communications programs for the office of the CEO and other recurring executive communications forums, supporting on financial and people-related communications, and assisting with general communications reporting, tracking and planning.

You will collaborate with a broad range of executives and internal partners across the business and will work closely with all members of the Communications team.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be 
determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $57,000 - $107,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You’ll Do
  • Work hand-in-hand with leaders on the Corporate Communications team in producing Addepar’s most visible internal communications programs, including all-company meetings and communications
  • Support program execution for Addepar’s employee-led philanthropy program, AddeOne
  • Drive internal company communications that clearly and creatively shares relevant and timely information that is aligned with company values, key initiatives, and business objectives
  • Support the CEO’s internal and external communications programs, and other special projects to build up the external profiles of Addepar’s executive team
  • Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive PR strategies to support key corporate announcements; including messaging, positioning, and fielding media requests
  • Be a key point of contact for the flow of work between Addepar’s external PR agency and Addepar’s Communications team
  • Manage earned speaking and awards calendars, drive submissions to completion
Who You Are
  • 4-5 years of experience in the fast-growing startup environment, or at a technology-focused PR agency
  • A desire to grow both in internal and external communications proficiencies, as this role will encompass both areas of Addepar’s business
  • Highly collaborative, flexible and adaptable
  • Relevant media relations experience; prior engagement with technology and business media preferred
