What you will do:
As the Corporate Communications Coordinator, you will be given the opportunity to expand your skills and be exposed to multiple functions and leaders within the company at-large, helping to amplify our mission, accomplishments and news both internally and externally among key audiences. We’re undergoing an evolution of a well-known, content-rich, heritage brand and you’ll be at the forefront – with the opportunity to imagine endless possibilities. You will assist with overall department duties as aligned on with the Director of Corporate Communications who you will report to. Rest assured, no two days will look the same!
Roles & Responsibilities:Â
Support the Corporate Communications & PR team under the leadership of the Director of Corporate Communications to lay the groundwork for both internal, employee and external, media communications.Â
Provide support to the Manager of Social Media across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter for WeightWatchers thought leaders as needed.
Support content development in the form of employee announcements, events (i.e. Town Halls, employee engagement and inspiration meetings) and other initiatives across internal communications channels.Â
Support the team in community management on internal platforms (i.e. Workplace) as well as the continued adoption of Slack and streamlining internal platforms and processes with the cross functional support of our People and Strategy & Implementation teams.Â
Generate ideas for creating news across the business by writing clear, compelling media pitches focused on storytelling to build engagement.
Regularly report on analytics across roles and responsibilities to track areas of improvements and provide future suggestions for growth and development.Â
Oversee media lists, editorial calendars, awards calendars and ensure the team is well ahead of deadlines and always on track to deliver.

In addition to being a collaborative go-getter, multi-tasker and team player with a robust sense of curiosity, you are a strong project manager that will bring the following skills to the table:
You have 1 - 3 years of professional experience with a bachelor's degree and internship experience in journalism, business communications, public relations or marketing (preferred)
You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, personable, and a true problem solver.
You are a self-starter and have the ability to prioritize as well as multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Â
You consume news and media to stay on top of the health & wellness landscape, cultural events, social media trends, and more.
You’re an out-of-the-box thinker and an implementer. You enjoy coming up with new ideas that will engage audiences and execute them with urgency.Â
You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Base salary may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location.Â
Base Salary
$60,000/yr to $70,000/yr
