Job Description

Building a team starts with valuing the team. We hire the best of the best to ensure you’re working with people you can constantly learn from. You’re trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what’s possible and what’s next. We work hard to provide a culture where everyone feels supported, and our employees feel it—their votes helped us become one of Newsweek's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces in 2023.

We also value sports. Not just because of the big wins and highlight-worthy plays, but because of the lasting impact sports can have: the lifelong lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring mentors; the priceless opportunities to play at the next level. Sports can change lives—that’s what we value.

Our team helps the world see sports differently through products that make it easier to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and do a lot more.

Ready to join us?

We’re looking for a current undergraduate student who’s hungry to learn to join our team. No matter the size, scope or spotlight, your work helps us level up our employee experience. You'll work on our Corporate Communications team to keep employees across the globe engaged, informed and excited about what’s happening at Hudl.

This position will start in the Fall 2023 and we're only considering students from Lincoln-area or Omaha-area universities at this time.

You Are
  • A current student. You’re a junior or senior who’s excited for the opportunity to work with our Corp Comms team. Your work will complement your education, and give you real-world experience that will take you to the next level after graduation.
  • Skillful and curious. You’re a natural storyteller, and know how to communicate with different audiences for maximum impact. You’re data-focused and keep your finger on the pulse to understand what’s working and what isn’t.
  • Team-oriented. You can build relationships across departments through hard work, trust and being respectfully blunt, while also being able to take respectful critique because you know your work will be better because of it.
  • Responsible. You take ownership in your work to hit deadlines, manage multiple projects and raise red flags when you see them.
  • Hands-on. Your copy editing is second-to-none, you love to hunt down a good story, learn new skills and get your hands dirty executing projects and company events.
  • Confident. You know how and when to push back on the details that matter, and aren’t afraid to speak up when you spot inefficiencies or opportunities.
You Will
  • Hone your craft. You’ll learn and apply best practices in strategic communication to engage our global employee audience. We’ll give you the tools to be successful, and push you to think critically about how we can elevate our plans and execution.
  • Level-up our team. You’ll take part in planning and executing some of our most important all-company projects: All-Hands meetings, company retreats and our Weekly Hudl newsletter. We’ll look to you to compile and analyze our data to spot areas of opportunity.
  • Manage your own projects. You’ll be a member of the team—which means we’ll trust you to handle recurring and one-off project requests. You’ll be expected to communicate and work independently and alongside your team members to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met. (Don’t worry, you won’t be on your own island.)
We Will
  • Ask you to make an impact. You're part of the team—that means you'll have real responsibilities. We want to hear what you think and see what you can do.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But even if you’re taking advantage of the opportunity to work remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
  • Develop your career. On top of working alongside some of the best professionals in the business and gaining real-world experience, we’ll give you extra opportunities like lunch-and-learns and access to curated libraries to round out your internship.
  • Support your wellbeing. You’ll have an entire team on your side to give advice and provide answers to your questions, plus more resources like topic-specific Slack channels and employee resource groups. In short, we have you covered.
