Corporate Communications, Senior Manager

The Corporate Communications, Senior Manager role will develop and implement Pine Gate Renewables’ (PGR) internal and external communication strategies across social, digital, and media outlets for the organization to ensure unified, consistent, and positive messages that define and promote the corporate identity.

• Lead development, execution, and measurement of internal and external communications, including editorial calendar, social media, industry awards, media relations, and company newsletters/memos.
• Identify, develop, and execute communications strategy for key media contacts, influencers, and customer references.
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics working with internal partners, vendors, and media outlets for timely, quality submissions.
• Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals.
• Research, track, and communicate media coverage and industry trends.
• Develop and implement crisis management communication procedures.
• Work closely with People and Culture partners to facilitate development of teammate experience.
• Coach and assists team members on improving communication skills including developing public SMEs and Brand Ambassadors through the preparation of briefing materials and development of supporting policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, public relations or similar field.
• 5 years work experience in corporate communications.
• Strong project management and technical skills in writing, branding and social media platforms.

• Experience in solar or energy industry.
• Web design and UX know how.
• Knowledge of current communication policies and privacy laws.
• MBA or related Master’s degree.

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, public relations or similar field.

• Preferred location: Asheville, North Carolina.
• If remote, the role requires to up to 25% travel.
