Work Environment
Office environment; up to 10% travel required.
While working in this environment, the employee will be exposed to machinery, moving equipment and material, moderate noise, airborne particles, fumes and various levels of temperature created by manufacturing processes.

Mission of Position
The Corporate Communications Specialist will work collaboratively across Magna Powertrain's functions and teams to support and execute a globally minded communications strategy that aligns with the organizations business objectives and priorities while also connecting with our people at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Integral member of the global MPT Communications team, focused on corporate communications, leadership communications and internal events.
- Support the execution of the global communications strategy, including maintaining all internal communication channels.
- Build relationships across divisions and functions to foster open communication and become a trusted resource on communication needs.
- Collect, support, create and publish content for MPT's internal communication channels, focusing on corporate communication topics and inclusive of interviewing subject matter experts.
- Coordinate and support leadership and internal communication events, including webcasts, conferences and workshops.
- Provide support on communication campaigns as needed.
- Support the translation process for all necessary content, coordinating agency support and internal proofreading.
- Project manage, establish milestones, coordinate teams and report on metrics (KPIs) in cooperation with team.
- Other duties as required.

- Develop and maintain a responsive and cooperative working relationship with internal and external customers.
- Treat everyone with dignity, trust and respect.
- Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, business, or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in internal or corporate communications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to write concise, captivating messaging for various audiences.
- Ability to support global projects and work harmoniously in a multi-cultural environment
- Results oriented, strong sense of urgency, collaborative, proactive and flexible.
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Great work ethic with strong motivation and aptitude towards the highest level of quality.
- High level usage of MS Office programs and SharePoint is desirable.
