Job Summary 

Ruggable is searching for a Network CI Manager to join our team in one of our manufacturing facilities located in Los Angeles, Chicago, or Charlotte. We are looking for someone with previous manufacturing/CI experience to help level up our entire manufacturing operations.

This position will be responsible for managing and leading continuous improvement projects and be a "leader of change". Must be comfortable working with all levels within the organization. Must be able to question the status quo and be an excellent communicator. Will be responsible for managing and leading continuous improvement projects, launching new products as well as mentoring and coaching all lean processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement a cross functional CI strategy
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing methodology in the implementation of manufacturing excellence initiatives.
  • Manage a portfolio of lean projects directed at reducing waste and improving quality to provide greater value; implements such tools as: 5S, Kanban, VSM, Kaizen, Daily Management System
  • Design and build robust scalable processes for new products
  • Lead cross functional DFM studies
  • Train, coach and motivate personnel in the understanding and adoption of new principles and techniques; focusing on measurable quality, service and cost improvement.
  • Drive the standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices.
  • Assist in setting annual operational targets and help drive improvements to achieve those targets.

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent education; Master’s Degree a plus
  • 1 Year of experience leading/managing a team
  • Demonstrated experience in Lean Techniques
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operation
  • Ability to use project management tools, MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio, Mini-tab in order to efficiently handle the workflow and transactions generated.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in Lean Six Sigma (LSS), 5S, KPI, SMED, VSM, and Kaizen

Preferred 

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred 
  • Lean Six Sigma green belt or equivalent
  • Prior manufacturing or continuous improvement experience

Compensation:

  • $90,000-$100,000 per year
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
