Job Summary: Reporting to the CFO, as the Corporate Controller, you will play a pivotal role in leading the financial operations of our company. We seek a seasoned professional with expertise in manufacturing, a strong work ethic, adaptability, and leadership capabilities for this dynamic role.
- Oversee a broad range of accounting matters including billing, A/R, A/P, preparation of financial statements, financial audits, tax, and other regulatory compliance matters
- Ensure the integrity of consolidated financial results, maintain US GAAP compliance, and provide guidance on accounting and financial reporting matters
- Work closely with external advisors on audit, tax, and accounting matters.
- Manage the monthly close process, including accruals, reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting package.
- Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and assemble accurate and timely financial reports.
- Coordinate and lead annual financial statement audits and maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Implement cost control measures and strategies to optimize financial performance while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Oversee manufacturing and inventory accounting processes, ensuring accurate cost allocation and inventory valuation.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors to develop and execute tax planning strategies.
- Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls
- Take ownership of the company's insurance program, including liaising with insurance providers, ensuring adequate coverage, and managing claims efficiently to mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure all financial and regulatory filings, including tax and compliance documents, are submitted accurately and on time, maintaining a record of punctual and error-free submissions to meet legal requirements and prevent penalties.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Â
- 8+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, government contract accounting (FAR/DFARS), and financial regulations
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Proven experience in overseeing successful annual financial statement audits
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience with Epicor ERP solution
- Previous experience in the aerospace and defense industry
- CPA is preferred

- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
