Mozilla's Legal team is looking for an experienced corporate attorney who wants to do deals that make the internet better. The ideal candidate would also have a strong interest in expanding beyond corporate transactions.

As Corporate Counsel for Mozilla, you will…

• Be the lead attorney to structure, negotiate, and execute M&A, equity investment, and other corporate transactions
• Partner with Mozilla’s Corporate Development team to establish deal philosophy, processes, and playbooks
• Identify and build lasting relationships across Mozilla stakeholders to understand business issues, ensure alignment, and minimize deal execution risk
• Develop a deep understanding of Mozilla’s mission and strategy and enable Mozilla’s corporate transactions to support them
• Support subsidiary management and advise on corporate governance and related compliance matters
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial contracts, including a variety of SaaS, marketing, distribution, independent contractor, and advertising agreements
• Be willing to jump in and take on other projects and responsibilities as needed

• J.D. degree and membership in a state bar with good standing
• 4-7 years relevant experience negotiating and executing M&A, equity investments, and other corporate transactions
• Experience with handling corporate governance matters, including Board materials, consents, and minutes. Experience with entities outside of the U.S. a plus
• Proven track record of building relationships across cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally to support business-led decisions
• Team player
