Corporate IT Technology Lead #571

Clearance: A current DOD Top Secret or the ability to attain an equivalent clearance is preferred.

High-Level Project Summary/Intro: Ready to sharpen your skills as an IT specialist and build your portfolio in service delivery? Is #GSD your favorite hashtag? This role directly supports the teams that are making a difference for Dev Technology’s clients every day by ensuring active management of technical resources, IT Service Management processes, and securing our information. This position is an essential role in the organization and an opportunity to apply technical knowledge across a broad range of domains in support of day-to-day activities.

What You'll Be Doing: This position requires at least three days a week at our Reston, Virginia offices to maintain visibility, presence, and high levels of engagement and interaction for hybrid equipment located there.

This position will be primarily responsible for the technical and process components of the following activities:

  • Overall daily management of our ISO 20000-1 service management program that governs IT service delivery for our teams
  • Overall daily management of our ISO 27001 information security program, NIST 800-171 implementation, and other emerging security compliance requirements that govern our information security preparedness, posture, and response
  • Overall daily management of our accountable device inventory
  • Overall daily management of our cloud-first approach to business productivity

The position will also have the opportunity to collaborate in the following areas:

  • Building overall corporate IT strategy by working with Chief Technologist, HR, Accounting, and others
  • Interacting with delivery teams on high-profile government delivery contracts
  • Supporting innovation, research, and development efforts with disciplinary experts in Cloud Architecture, Biometrics, and AI/ML

Required Education, Experience, and Skills: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar from an accredited school or equivalent certification portfolio.

In addition, the following experience is necessary to be fully successful in the role:

  • 3-5 years of technology operations experience in government or other highly regulated industry
  • 3+ years of helpdesk or other service desk experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on networking experience – from cable to end user
  • 2+ years of AWS-based experience using and managing resources
  • 2+ years managing a Microsoft 365 environment, including endpoint, security, and productivity tools
  • Ability to maintain high levels of customer service, interaction, engagement, and support all levels of the organization
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in email, chat, in-person, or via video
  • Ability to be self-directing and work individually or as part of a team
  • Ability to define, assign, manage, and communicate around discrete technical tasks and activities
  • Previous experience working in, managing, and sustaining ISO or other accredited delivery environments

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: 

  • Diverse experience and background in using and managing operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Some knowledge of Agile & DevOps practices and tools
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code approaches and tools
  • Experience with IoT/Dedicated Video Conferencing devices
  • AWS Solution Architect Associate
  • Network+
  • Security+ or CySA+
