Job Purpose

As a Talent Acquisition Recruiter reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will help fuel Enviva’s growth by identifying and hiring top talent for our leadership teams. Based out of our office in Raleigh, NC, the Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers, supporting full lifecycle recruitment, and providing administrative, scheduling, and project support to the greater Talent Acquisition team.

Responsibilities

Recruiting

  • Manage full lifecycle recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience, to include sourcing passive candidates, screening applicants, conducting phone interviews, facilitating debriefs, presenting and negotiating offers.
  • Maintain candidate activity in the applicant tracking system/database and use reporting, metrics, and analytics to improve recruiting efficiency and outcomes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define position specifications and develop knowledge of internal customers to effectively target recruitment efforts in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Utilize sourcing platforms including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.
  • Partner with the HR Operations team to define and enhance the Enviva employment brand through the candidate experience.
  • Follow up on new hires and their integration into the organization; use this feedback to continuously improve processes.
  • Champion diversity and culture in all aspects of the hiring process, from content of job descriptions, formulation of interview panels as well as candidate experience.
  • Initiate cold contacts with passive candidates via phone calls, or by creating email or social media campaigns.

Coordinating

  • Schedule phone interviews, onsite interviews, organize travel and hotel arrangements for candidates, and manage candidate expense reimbursement process.
  • Assist with reserving conference rooms, provide confirmations, and interview guides for the candidates and interview teams. 
  • Problem solve when interviewing plans change and communicate to the interview team, so they can adjust any plans and schedules as needed. 
  • Provide a great candidate experience; greet candidates when they arrive in the office and monitor their schedule during the interview.
  • Present Enviva’s value proposition to candidates by articulating a clear and compelling message about our mission, values, and products/business.
  • Ensure the recruitment process holds a high validity and that candidates are being assessed in a quality-driven way.
  • Act as a liaison between candidates and staff to include the Talent Acquisition team, Hiring Managers, and Human Resources
  • Generate, update, and deliver reports on sourcing metrics from the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Manage campus recruiting events and assist with additional recruiting programs as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Human Resource, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in recruitment/talent acquisition.
  • Experience recruiting for operational and corporate roles in manufacturing or industrial fields.
  • Proficiency in web-based recruiting systems and ATS systems required, experience with Greenhouse ATS a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven success of operating in a fast-paced, fluid environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Resourceful and able to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent customer service in a professional and diverse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR or SHRM certification

Working Conditions

  • Corporate office setting with 95% desk work, will have sit/stand desk. 
  • Hybrid work with a minimum of one (1) day a week in the office. 
  • Must be able to commute to (Raleigh/Bethesda) office for critical in-person events and meetings as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to pull and lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA.
  • Able to work on computer screen format for up to twelve (12) hours a day.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to periodically travel to other Enviva sites(10% or less).
