This position will be responsible for building out, maintaining, and continually improving the Corporate Regulatory Compliance Program to adhere to state, federal, national legislation as well as industry requirements. The Regulatory Compliance Manager should stay abreast of current industry trends and new regulations to analyze their impact on an organization. This position will oversee corporate regulatory compliance in ethics/compliance/privacy training; anti-bribery/anti-corruption/FCPA process, privacy, import/export, ESG and other required compliance or regulatory requirements. The nature of this position requires collaboration with teams across the organization, at all levels with varying levels of technical acumen, as well as contact with outside client representatives, vendors, auditors, and other business-related representatives.
Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for, but not limited to, these activities -
  • Ensure company's overall compliance with policies and global regulations and standards (including areas of federal/government/law, privacy, and various industries)
  • Select (if required), develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of their function and responsibilities
  • Stay current with present, and upcoming, domestic, and international legislation
    • Research regulatory requirements by specific jurisdiction and industries
    • Research emerging trends, such as biometric identification, to identify potential regulatory requirements
  • Assess the impact of new regulations and/or business processes
  • Assist in defining standards, processes, and tools needed for program success
  • Act as one of SailPoint's subject matter expert regarding regulatory compliance requirements and controls
  • Support and drive regulatory compliance strategy and policy implementation as it relates to products and business initiatives; be responsible for defining milestones, resource allocation, and successful on-time delivery
  • Oversee and manage the privacy and regulatory compliance tasks within OneTrust
  • Assist with audit efforts related to ISO 27018, 27001, 27701 and various other audits
  • Manage the collaboration with different departments to create, gather data, conduct inspections and observations, and assess the efficiency of the regulatory compliance control program
  • Ensure effective and appropriate compliance metrics are in place and reported to appropriate personnel
  • Possibly submit compliance reports to regulatory organizations and/or create and maintain files of investigation results or complaints
  • Monitor, identify, quantify, track, and lead mitigation of corporate regulatory compliance risks
  • Present reports of regulatory compliance findings and applicable recommendations to management
  • Manage and track employee ethics/compliance/privacy training; training must meet global standards
  • Assist with development and management of regulatory and privacy awareness campaigns
  • May assist with contractual and/or customer (existing and prospective) questions and requests
  • Perform additional compliance tasks/duties as required.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lead a team and maintain a regulatory compliance program
  • Minimum 3-4 years work in regulatory compliance or related field
  • Proven track record working in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related positions
  • Working knowledge of SEC, FCPA, Anti-Bribery, Anti-Fraud, Anti-Corruption, Sanctions, ESG, GDPR, CRPA, PIPEDA, LGPD, HIPAA and other relevant regulatory requirements
  • Well-versed in legal and regulatory guidelines and best practices
  • Ability to identify compliance opportunities, gather and analyze information and form compliance strategy recommendations
  • Organization, project management, and strategic planning skills
  • General knowledge of IT systems, AWS/Azure Infrastructure, Security, SDLC and DevOps
  • High professional standards and values with a demonstrated commitment to corporate responsibility
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, able to communicate tactfully and effectively, express legal/regulatory concepts in business terms, and maintain positive and effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to use sound judgment when making decisions under conditions of uncertainty
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to high ethical and moral standards
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple, competing task within a projected timeline
  • Ability to be collaborative and build strong relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Possesses strong facilitation skills related to meetings and team interaction
  • Willingness and ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Team-player

Preferred:
  • BA/BS degree preferred in related field
  • Experience working for a Cloud Service Provider or in professional services a plus
  • Experience designing and/or maintaining compliance programs and controls for regulations and frameworks a plus
  • CISSP, CIPM, CIPT, CCSP, CSP specific, PMP, CISA, CIA, Certifications
