Corporate Sales Development Representative

The Corporate Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their Account Executive partners. This role manages the outbound campaigns by qualifying active buying interest and identifying critical decision makers to successfully position the Omnipresent value proposition. SSDRs who establish high performance and are strong representations of the Omnipresent Core Values will have potential for new challenges and career advancement within sales.
Your role
The key thing here is that we are an early stage, rapidly growing start up where the sales function is somewhat undefined. You won’t just come in and plug into a well oiled sales machine - You will be helping to build it. In addition you’ll do all the usual stuff an SDR in a SaaS style start up does. Which, to be clear looks like this:
- Take responsibility for lead generation through a mix of prospecting, cold outreach (email and calls) and LinkedIn.
- Organize sales processes and data in our CRM.
- Develop new and creative ways of improving our processes and outbound prospecting.
- Gather and structure customer feedback to share with our product and service teams.
Requirements
Key focuses
- Execute creative outbound prospecting within your assigned accounts
- Account mapping and researching potential accounts that fit our Ideal Customer Profile
- Conduct high level conversations with senior level prospects, explaining the value proposition of Omnipresent
- Make 40+ outbound phone calls each day
- Leverage sales tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Vidyard, and LinkedIn Navigator to network with potential customers
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, etc.)
- Gain business knowledge through researching how different industries operate, leadership structures, and pain points and challenges our clients face each day
- Collaborate with Account Executive on qualified meetings
- Attend daily huddles to celebrate wins and goals
Minimum Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales development, sales, or customer-facing environment
- Demonstrable experience and proficiency in high pressure, competitive situations
- You have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal; you have a track record of giving successful presentations
- Ability to think on your feet in conversation and answer unexpected questions with ease
- Demonstrate empathy for customer struggles and challenges
- Intellectually curious
- Willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced and high growth environment
- Passionate about sales and sales process
- Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Easily builds rapport and establishes relationships with prospects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey them over the phone
- Willingness to try new concepts and open to coaching
- Ability to develop confidence in using programs like Salesforce, Salesloft and LinkedIn
- Preferred:
- Working experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator
